My thoughts on people who use body language to talk about you behind your back.

Since I am currently unable to come up with something clever to say to start of this post, I suppose I will start it with a short tale.

Today, I was sitting in class, and as I frequently do, I became annoyed. Feeling the need to vent I spouted something sarcastic. After having said what I did, my I felt as though my venting was complete, so I began to turn my attention back to the teacher, and on their way there, my eyes noticed one of my classmates with a rather unfriendly look on their face...so my gaze stopped..then I saw the eye-roll. This was of course, in response to my soapbox. I get similar reactions from this person frequently. Actually, all he time.

Having recounted that little history to you, now I shall tell you my thoughts on this. Talking about someone behind their back is bad enough. But at least the person has the courage to say it out loud and the courage to brave the possibility of becoming "one of those people" who talk about people behind their backs. But when use body language to make derogatory remarks  about someone behind their back, the only thing you accomplish is showing that you are a giant coward. People like that should aspire to become "one of those people." At least they have the balls to say (or type) what they  think. To conclude, first let me say that I in no way promote the talking about others behind their back. Second, if you think me to be a hypocrite, I would like to point out that I am not talking about this specific person, or at least not directly. I am merely using this story as an example to prove a point. This person is a very nice, funny, caring person, good hearted, I believe, at their core, but they just so happened to spark my thoughts today, therefore, I blog.  Also, I would like to confess my guilt in the same crime. There is not a single person in this world who can claim innocence in this case. But it is important that everyone, myself included, realize that people can see us. Just as someone may overhear someone talking, one can "Over-see" someone doing.I hope you will work on this. I know I certainly will.-TheRinker
